Cup or What?
“Your wellness break” was the key phrase for this all-day coffee shop at the south suburbs of Athens. The eazy breezy lifestyle of Athens Riviera and the healthy driven menu led to more bright and organic choices of forms and materials.
A white to beige pallete applied on floor, walls and furniture with some wooden details drop a hint for the fresh served coffee. Fabrics and ceramic accessories go along with the shades of mocha complementing the role of wood. White metal with refined profiles chosen as the main material for the sharp design of the facade, the bookcases, the benches, the stools and the coffee tables. While the most of the furniture’s lines are edged, a flowing curve shapes the long interior countertop and the exterior seating bench that wraps around the olive tree. The effortless casual style is reinforced by the use of a classic Garamond fonts family for the logo labels, the wall menu and the signs and the abstract sketch posters inspiresd by famous artists of modern art.
